Fleet
Expansion
ERS expanded its overall rail transportation
capacity by 200% over the past year. This was
accomplished via the addition of 100 new 52’
low-sided mill gondolas, 120 IP-1 type intermodals
and 20 6-position ABC flat cars. This represents
a substantial financial commitment by ERS. The
increased capacity will be utilized to provide
the necessary capacity to meet your material
transportation needs. Our goal at ERS is to
ensure that your site is always “stocked” with
the right type and amount of containers for
loading to minimize on site labor downtime.
In addition to its direct owned equipment, ERS
has relationships with a number of providers
to supply additional equipment on short notice
to meet any “spikes”
you may have during your project. ERS also maintains
a rigorous repair and maintenance program on
all equipment to enhance reliability and minimize
lost time as a result of damage or breakdown.
